About Studio WallWorx

Studio WallWorx, located in historic Parkville, Missouri, is a professional faux finishing studio that specializes in teaching the art of faux finishing and decorative painting. Directors Shana Smith and Leanne Lee bring their vast field experience into the classroom to provide students with hands-on workshops in the latest decorative painting techniques. Students in our faux finishing workshops benefit from hearing real-life examples of "bloopers" in the field. Yes, even the best make mistakes!

Studio WallWorx turns those experiences into valuable information for you. Studio WallWorx offers training workshops from decorative painting and simple glazing techniques to advanced faux finishing and European plaster finishes. WallWorx has a class offering for each aspiring faux painter, no matter what your current level. 

1n January 2007, Studio WallWorx became one of eight Certified Training Centers for Modern Masters Inc. In 2008, Studio WallWorx became a Platinum Training Center for Modern Masters, inc and the Kelly S. King academy.

At Studio WallWorx, we work hard to ensure that each student gets the most out of his/her class. To optimize the learning experience, we devote countless hours preparing for each class that we teach. It's the attention to detail that makes our studio "the best in the business".

All WallWorx classes are taught in our newly renovated studio located in Parkville, MO.  All class participants are allowed and encouraged to tour our studio to view first hand the most cutting edge finishes offered today. Unless otherwise stated, our classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. CST.

Leanne Lee and Shana Smith, co-owners of WallWorx, LLC, will be your instructors. With more than 16 years of combined field experience, these "faux girls" know their stuff. They will not only teach you the tools of the trade but will give you real examples of hurdles that may occur in the field.

WallWorx, LLC is not under contract to promote any one company or product. We believe that each product line excels in certain areas. As a student of WallWorx, you can relax knowing there will be no hard core sales pitch to buy the products we sell. We are in business to teach you the best techniques using the best products within the industry.

Each student will receive a class notebook which will include step-by-step instructions for each finish. Our classes are completely hands-on. We will begin each finish by reviewing the steps in the notebook, then demonstrating the steps on our own sample board, and then allowing you to complete your sample board. Whether you are a homeowner looking to spruce up your space or a budding entrepreneur looking to break into the Decorative Painting industry, Studio WallWorx has a class for you!
